yes.

Early in boot, the shadow set is created with just one physical disk.
In your procedure, the mount command was designed to add an extra disk
to it.

Since you no longer need/ant to add a second disk to that system disk
shadow set, you can remove the mount command. (or just comment it out
because if you decide to add a disk to the system again later, you'll
know how to make a 2 disk shadow set)
