last new path has landfall at nortern end of Wildwood. It used to be at
Ocean City last night.

It will now pass south of harrisburg before veering north. Last night,s
path had it veer north while still a bit east of harrisburg. However,
the new path has it spend about 12 hours near harrisburg, losing
intensity, before moving north to canada.

What is interesting: tha path takes what is left of sandy directly over
montreal on thursday night/friday morning.

I did a little map on the 2 projected paths (sunday at 23:00 and monday
at 05:00):

But this afternoon and tonight, we have strong wind warnings of up to
100km/h ( roughly 55 mph) in Montreal because of flow of air from high
pressure east of us over atlantic  going southwest to "feed" the 2 lows
that are combining (Sandy and that long band of rain from the south of
USA all the way to nortern québec).

So we'll get the dangerous winds today with partly cloudy skies even
though sandy is still far, and later this week, we get all the rain as
the combined systems advance upon us.

Big difference is that the system isn't going to linger very long over
us as it will over PA/MA/NJ

But if the golden elixyr is in the basement, what happens if it floods ?

If fallen leaves start to clog up storm drains, this could cause a lot
fo flooding.
