An extra keg is on the sidelines! People are stocking up on bottle water.
I stock up on kegged Guinness! ;)

I can drink Guinness at cellar temp if need be... and this is a weird
Hurricane. It's much more like our typical Noreasters. It is really
quite cool outside, not that warm humid air normally associated with a
tropical storm, so that should help keep the beer.

30+ days if my son doesn't imbibe along with me.

Lakewood and my neighboring community of Jackson are in Ocean County.

The current storm path prognostication has the eye seeing landfall on the
Atlantic City vicinity. That means that where I am, I'll see the heaviest
of the winds from this storm. I anchored the patio pergola to the tractor
with a 3" nylon strap ratchet tie-down just in case. I moved the grill to
safety beneath it too. Pool's cover has been secured down with 24 2 liter
plastic bottles of water and some water pumped on the cover -- the latter
probably not necessary with the forecasted rain.

Yeah and FEMA claimed all the damage was in Northern NJ. The government
failed us non-city dwellers yet again.

Well, I'm not flying unless the winds pick me up off my feet!
