   Recently we had a major highway open near us.  The noise a few of the
   cars make early in the morning or late at night on the other side of
   the sound barrier a couple blocks away reminds me of listening to cars 
   on the two lane road going past the farm when I was a kid.
   
   My wife, who grew up in cities, complains about the noise from the
   new highway.
