[Info-vax] OpenVMS IA64 V8.4 running mariaDB (or MYSQL)

I saw a request for testers for mariaDB from last year. Has anything come of this effort?

>From the Mark Berrymans site I downloaded the 2 Field Test zip files and installed. The DB is rough but works.

I need to include a relational DB in my application and am willing to test and help in development if necessary in order to help clean it up for release.

Also, I have tried the MYSQL 5.1.36 for IA64 and had issues with using/linking to SSL. I received and version/id mismatch from MYSQL and the SSL package. From the web site I seem to have the correct version of the required software, so I am loss.

Any and all help would be appreciated.
