Not at all, you assume a bit too much. What agenda would there be?

This is easily the greatest nonsense I've read in quite a while,
especially --- particularly in this context, even as you mentioned
yourself --- as it directly collides with your earlier ("A") point.
Why is there a difference and why should it matter? Also. why do you
so easily assume that Japan is "monocultural"? That in itself isn't
even true. Ever heard of the Hokkaido-native Ainu, ethnic "Zainichi"
Koreans, ethnic Chinese, etc.? Not to mention their treatment and
that they all too often try to hide their true origins in Japan, due
to prejudices. you should start looking up publications on their
treatment and position in Japanese society, for starters (there is
quite a bit out there on the Ainu, for instance).
Not to mention common terms for foreigners, with very pejorative
connotations, like the term "gaijin".

It's perfectly in line with the leading dogmas.
