Well, I don;t remember doing it on VMS as our last VMS box went away
before SSH was so common, but I owuld hope it is no harder than what
it takes to set up SSHD on any other box, which is trivial.

Define "internal".  My home network is just me, my wife and two dogs
and I don't let them run telnet either.  As for "internal" non-home
networks.  The wireless at the University is not encrypted.  Can
you figure out what that means?  :-)
