[Info-vax] Pile of RX2660s

I have had DS10Ls,rx2600s, and rx2660s in the office.  The DS10L is the quietest of these.  The rx2600 and the rx2660 are similar.  I can live with them but I would rather find them a small closet..  They also generate a fair amount of heat in comparison to the DS10L.

Now, my environment is a small (12' by 12' office.  I do not have any "skins" on the servers.  If they were in a small rack with skins the noise would be reduced.  A rack with a bit of sound absorbing material would make a big difference.
