Right.  I was just pointing out that "dark text" and "light "background" 
are not always well defined.  Suppose that the text is red and the 
background blue---which is dark, which is light.  For the default white 
text on grey background of DECterm, the notation is reversed, which is 
why "normal video" and "reverse video" might be better.
