I have a satellite which I regularly boot into my cluster. Today, it
doesn't boot, giving the warning mentioned in the subject line.
What is perhaps a bit strange is that it can vote from more than one
bootserver (each bootserver has its own system disk). However, this has
worked in the past and it has booted from more than one.
The only "strange" thing is that yesterday I ran AUTOGEN from SAVPARAMS
to TESTFILES and then SETPARAMS, but I don't see how that could affect
anything.
It downloads the MOP image quickly and everything looks fine at first,
then things hang and the warning appears before things go back to the
console prompt.
What I did notice is that today, for some reason, it wants to boot from
a node it otherwise usually doesn't boot from (but has booted from in
the past).
Is there anyway to easily, quickly and safely temporarily suppress the
possibility to boot from a given node, so that it will be forced to use
another node?
