Well, I, for one, am happy that the entire summer season was rather storm
free as there's still so much to clean up and repair here on the NJ shore.
Still, every where I travel in my area, I can see the uprooted tree root
systems of Sandy felled trees. It'll take years to clear all that to get
the NJ shore areas back to where they were pre-Sandy. Repairing the Benny
and Shoobie summer haunts should have taken a back seat to the repair of
the homes of the year-round residents -- a great many who are still taking
up residence in area hotels because their homes are either uninhabitable or
they've been completely destroyed.

Kudos to my Uncle Sammy and Auntie Trenton for costing me more accountancy
fees to file storm damage victim forms which didn't offset the theft of my
dollars via taxation one iota.

On the bright side, JCP&L did, albeit too slowly, get the power restored.
