For taps of this sort I've had good luck with the following
(3M 560B SELF-STRIP TAP CONNECTOR) - no stripping and no
tools other than something for cutting the wire to begin
with.  Specs and bulk pricing here (should be available
in small quantities/blister packs from the usual hardware

One caveat: the connector is slightly bulky; I would
guess 4-8 times the cross sectional area of the pair
of wires being joined.  You may want to stagger them a
bit so they don't interfere with each other when
jammed together in a bundle.  Never had a problem
with them inside a PC case.
