VMS does not have engineering support till then. The EOL allows HP to
shutdown engineering earlier and only sell mature product support.

The flavour of the announcement (which does not include a formal end of
sales for VMS, only its end of development and end of sales for Tukwila
systems) semms like, walks like and talks like an end of sale fr VMS
that matches end of sales for Tukwila.
