Actually, PL/M has nothing (or at least very little) to do with IBM or
MVS.  PL/M stands for Programming Language for Microcomputers and I
think the first one was done by Intel for the 8008 and 8080.  At least
one version of CP/Mis written in it.

The Intel one is available (written in Fortran 66) and if you want some
real fun, look at the sources and try to figure out how they developed
all the code they did with the glaring error in the compiler.  :-)
