"HP has decided to extend the sale of Integrity i2 servers through at 
least 2015. Upgrades to Integrity i2 servers will be available through 
at least 2016 or as long as supplies last. Customers who are looking at 
purchasing new servers after 2015 can either purchase additional 
Integrity i2 servers by 2015 or work with the regional sales team and 
commit purchase for such servers in subsequent years."

Planned support dates for OpenVMS itself are longer.

Typical hardware support dates are five years and sometimes longer 
(usually based on the availability of parts), but I've not seen that 
listed anywhere.

I'd probably still want to ask for these details in writing from the HP 
account folks, and I'd also consider making specific and independent 
arraignments for spares and related — OpenVMS ports do sometimes take 
longer than planned or expected, after all.
