I noticed. :-) And wrote about them here in a thread entitled "HP adds
OpenVMS Mature Product Support beyond the end of Standard Support". HP
updated the OpenVMS Roadmap at http://hp.com/go/openvms/roadmap/ and
provided a FAQ document at
http://h20195.www2.hp.com/V2/GetDocument.aspx?docname=4AA5-0454ENW&cc=us&lc=en

Right.

On the software side, Mature Product Support without Sustaining
Engineering is now committed through at least 2025 for OpenVMS 8.4 on
Integrity.

On the hardware side, the FAQ notes:
"Q7. Will support for the AlphaServer hardware products be extended to
match the OpenVMS support extensions?
A7. Yes. HP has extended support of selected Alpha families to match the
OpenVMS support extensions. Please contact your HP representative to
determine if your specific configuration will be extended."

Nope. Still end of sales of new systems in 2015 with upgrades through
2016. You can make arrangements with your HP Sales Team if you feel you
need to buy new i2 systems beyond that. You could also purchase and
stockpile. And you can continue to purchase refurbished systems through
HP Renew for many years afterward as well, of course. (I'm told there
are about 5X as many HP-UX customers as OpenVMS customers, so there
should be more than enough i2 servers traded in for i4 and Kittson
systems to keep the refurbished lines flowing for OpenVMS customers.)
