[Info-vax] Sudden problems with slow sftp transfers and slow disk accesses

What about network processes which don't transfer much data, say

   SYSMAN> DO SHOW TIME

If they are also slow, then my guess would be a bad network card.  Post 
details on what network traffic is on which network card.  Perhaps all 
(cluster, TCPIP, DECnet,...) is all on one card?
