Well folks, "I never win anything" but this time I did! Wow.

David very promptly shipped the well packaged system.
I needed a bit of time to set it up (travelling too much, Atlanta mostly).
These are good looking boxes inside and out, quit a bit nicer than the old rx2600's I'm working with normally.

It booted right up, just fine. 
Here is that dream-machine on the dining table:

A minute later it had the DECwindows screen and I logged onto the pre-installed, and pre-patched OpenVMS 8.4.

Very nice.
