Continued IA64 availability is more a question of HP honouring contracts
and retaining customers, giving them plenty of time to formulate porting
strategies (especially in the case of HP-UX) than one that is strategic
to the company. IA64 is not a growth business, it is a business being
wound down.

Sure, they will sell as many IA64 boxes they can, but it isn't strategic
to the company,

BTW, Does BCS now sell x86 servers or is it still exclusively IA64 ?
