[Info-vax] XP1000 TOY clock problem at boot time

Back at the start of 2013, several people reported problems
with the XP1000 (and other Alpha systems) TOY clock having
invalid values.   This resulted in VMS boot always asking
for the date & time.

Last week, I upgraded my XP1000 from v8.3 to v8.4, along
with all the patches available as of mid-August 2014
(VMS84A_UPDATE-V0900).   Unfortunately, a patch for this
problem was not included in that update.

I have been told that there is a support-center-only
patch for this problem, but our support contract expired
last month.   Does anyone here have that patch, and could
you please send me a copy or tell me where I could find it?

At the same time, I understand that there is a patch for
TCP/IP v5.7, which I would also like to have.   For some
reason it is not part of the VMS84A_UPDATE-V0900 kit.
