Until the last release of TCPIP Services where they finally removed it,
prevoius versiosn had a "feature" that inserted a new line in a header
line that exceeded 255 characters (something about DECnet limits in case
that email had to be delivered over decnet after SMTP). the end result
was a broken RFC822 header since they inserted only newline instead of
newline and a space.

When accessing such emails from POP, the GUI client was unable to parse
the attachements since POP treated the email has invalid header and
synthetized a new header and treated the old header as being text part
of email.
