from a process existence point of view, what is a symbiont ? A purely
detached process ? subprocess child of the queue manager ?

Can it exist under its own username or always "SYSTEM" ?

Jusrt curious on how one would setup the logical names so the symbiont
would inherit them.

I realise that someone like Mr VAXMAN can just go in and create logicals
in an existing process logical name table, but if the process has
already checked for existence of those logicals, creating them later on
doesn't change how it will handle filename translation, will it ?
