It has been my experience that the LKs can be cleaned.  Have to first get the 
top and bottom halfs apart, and after that it's just being careful and paying 
attention to details.

Yes, with enough wear, there could be problems, but I've not encountered any 
yet.  Well, there was the "Z" key a certain B&G MaCaw decided to chew up ...

There are some ?all? with the plastic film with conducting lines and plugs into 
a slot which can be interesting.  I built a small tool out of thin steel that 
sort of works for re-inserting the thing.  Sure would have been nice if they 
were a bit better designed for disassembly and assembly.

So, got any "muddy" LKs with PS2 connector that you want to get rid of ???
