The code snippet looks ok at first glance.

You should verify the user is set up correctly, by doing ana/sys then show lan to find which user it is, then show lan/dev=ewa5 (for example), and verify the protocol type, format (eth, 802, 802e), and multicast address list are all set up correctly.
