Wow, and they say history repeats itself... that is certainly true. I finally remembered what the problem was, same one that bit me in the arse 15 years ago when I tried to something similar. You must add the NMA$C_PCLI_BUS parameter to the Multicast reader and set it higher than any packets you expect the sendoff the AB0004001234 protocol will be sending. The default for this pesky little devil is 512. I added the NMA$C_PCLI_BUS parameter and set it to 9234 (maximum) and it works like a champ.
