Your decision. I did the opposite. I've both installed for decades now.
But I usually run TCPware.

For the independency of the stacks I've some additional products in use
like DCPS for the printers, MX freeware for SMTP (and IUPOP3 for Pop).

DNS server change doesn't work via simple reboot and I've IMAP4 only in
TCPware in use (while AFAIK the IMAP over SSL only works in TCPIP).

I see no problems in having both products installed as long as you
(don't start them in parallel and) run the correct utilities -
which are called via symbols in TCPware and DCL verbs in TCPIP
(e.g if symbols are missing you use the DCL verbs aka wrong stack).
