In terms of VAX,  is there much hardware that 5.5-2 won't run on ?

If you actually emulate a VAX 4000-600, but pretend to be a Microvax
3100, wouldn't 5.5-2 hapily boot ?

5.5-2  happened near the end of the VAX in terms of how much VAX
hardware was developped after it, so this is why I am asking.
