One can always go out of their way to write bad code.  Anyone here remember
the "undocumented" Z80 instructions.  Heck, I recently tried to install a
printer driver for a current technology HP Laserjet on an HP Laptop running
Windows 7 only to be greeted with the message "This is not a compatable
processor" during the install.
