Even if things called DECservers aren't acceptable, there are lots of
readily available equivalents that speak IP as well as (instead of) LAT. 
Do they work in this particular set of circumstances? No idea. Is it
going to break the bank to find out? Not at $125 for a 1port gadget such
as the Moxa Nport 5100.
