[Info-vax] Which symbol to use for VMS?

Vernon (i.e. 'the shark'), definitely Vernon.  On J.F. Mezei's website*
there's the how and why, from the DEC employees in question.  The nice
thing also, in my opinion, is that Vernon was never officially ordered
or even sanctioned by DEC nor Compaq, let alone HP (all the better),
but just grew as the mascot and symbol of VMS over time, from what I
understand.
