HP will still support their version of OpenVMS for several years to 
come. Now what happens if HP OpenVMS or a layered products needs to be 
patched. Will VSI write the patch and supply it to HP as well as to its 
own version of the product? It wouldn't be a good thing of course if HP 
would continue (well, continue.... :-) ) to write their own patches.
