I recall at one point that Oracle was planning on integrating RDB
functions into Oracle so that one needed only 1 product.

How close is Oracle to being able to replace RDB on VMS ?

The reason I bring this up is that if Oracle Inc only had to do 1 DB on
VMS instead of 2, it might become more functional and have greater
development/progress than wnen the same budget is split between 2 products.

Wondering if there might be an opportunity to merge the 2 once and for
all with the port to the 8086.
