[Info-vax] Backup/physical question

As an update:

backup/physical worked. Dismounted the LD drive. FTP  (type=Image) the
.dmg file to the Mac.

There, Disk Utility had the "convert" button to create a new .DMG file
which could then be mounted properly.

I take it that OS-X can no longer directly  mount diskettes from the 68k
era of the Mac :-)
