Backup complained about different geometry with a F error, but still
chugged away at the copy.


fixed with:

$ ld connect /sectors=18/cylinders=80/tracks=2 dua2.dmg lda1:

this caused the geometry of LDA1: to match that of DUA2:

BTW, if anyone from VSI reads this, the LD DRIVER is a MUST for VMS, it
should be included and developped as part of the OS.

I would have thought that backup only cared about sequential block
numbers and not really the geometry. I also get that message if I first
copy the diskette/physical to a saveset and then try to backup/physical
from saveset to LDA1 device.
