Our experience, it was NOT a port.  It was a compile, link, and use it. 
  Seriously, it was that easy.  The only problem was an error I made in 
a MACRO-32 run-down routine, that Alpha never raised an error condition. 
  No problem as the program was exiting anyway.  The itanic was a bit 
more picky.

If you have procedures to build your software, just put everything on 
the itanic, queue up the procedure(s), and then review the logs.

As for MQseries, I'm not familiar with it.  What does it do?  Perhaps a 
replacement can be found or implemented.
