Well, this is one of the things I think these Pre-Compilers are there
to help. If you have looked at the actuall API's you see that every
Database has it's own way of doing things. But, all of the EXEC SQL
implemetations add that needed layer of abstraction so that as long
as you aren't trying to do something not supported in a particular
Database the source level code becomes very portable.
