[Info-vax] Important technology announcement from HP and VSI?

Torn between "This is an important announcemeny" and "this is some
simple presentation done in 2 australian towns announcing what we all
already know (VSI takes over development of VMS).

On the "important" side of things, perhaps it could be HP fully
transfering VMS to VSI.  This side is supported by the title "Important
technology announcement".


bn the non important side, it would likely be announcing VMS would be
available on Poulson and that VSI would continue to develop VMS on
industry standard servers. This side is supported by the fact this is
targetted at 2 presentation in Australia on different days, so this
isn't a single major announcement.




Note that even on the "Non important" side of things, this is still
positive as it sends a signal to all VMS shops to put porting plans on
hold due to injection of new life into VMS.


Of note: the Intel logo next to HP.
