That really depends on when he obtained his hobbyist kit. What's
currently available is called I64VMSV84withUpdate1000.iso and UPDATE
v10.0 is also separately available. These have January dates on them so
I don't think hobbyists had any particular lag behind general
availability. Since Hans said a year ago he probably had at least UPDATE
V7.0.
