You will recall that in the 1997 (I think) deal between Digital and
Intel, as part of Digital apologizing to Intel for Intel stealink Alpha
tech, Digital agreed to begin porting Digital Unix to IA64. (but not VMS).
Not sure how far along that project had gone by the time Curly started
to date LaCarly and both realised they would have to sacrifice Tru64 so
it wouldn't clash with LaCarly's HP-UX.
