The dating refers to the period where there 2 secretly met to
evaluate/plan the merger. It is during those meetings that Curly would
have agreed to kill Alpha to lease LaCarly, and did the deed early
enough (June 25) that by the time the wedding was announced on Sept 7,
the press had forgotten about it.
