So, if Carly was the one who talked Curly into killing the Alpha, I guess I can thank her for my current project, which is a military simulation that has been ported from OpenVMS on Alpha to Linux on x86_64. It was getting really hard to replace Alphas that "broke". (I wasn't there, so I don't know what broke.) See? She's a job creator. :--)
