[Info-vax] 8.4 freespace-drift problem?

Most of the time I use the shutdown script (or start button) before powering off a system. Especially on vms because the time saved by hitting the power switch is for certain lost at the next boot waiting for the disk to mount.
Unix and windows filesystems didn't take kindly to a sudden power failure 20 years ago, so these are powered down neatly.
Take care of the hardware;)
