Adobe?  Preview on OS X works just fine.

The text "Removing all power from the switch triggers a system reset. 
All devices are returned to their initial state the next time the 
switch is powered on." seems clear.

Looks completely volatile, without a less-interruptable power supply around.

But this: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01415719.pdf certainly 
implies it's a Brocade 3850 switch.

Accordingly, I'd try a Brocade sequences such as

The console serial cable is reportedly wired straight-through.
