Ayup.  That's what I'm seeing, too.   Which nicely segues into the VMS 
security implementation.   If you're still in the pre-millennial 
application use and can have a wide-open networking environment, VMS 
security still does well.   If you're in an environment involving 
networking and distributed authentication or other similar 
requirements, the VMS security and APIs and tools are rather more of a 
dog's breakfast.   But then I'm feeling rather polite today, too.
