The necessary code — Shimmer — is already written and debugged, it's 
already capable of processing both OpenVMS Alpha and OpenVMS I64 
shareable images into shim images, it uses the OpenSSL data for 
acquiring the correct symbol name casing, the user interface was 
intended to be simple to use and easy to integrate and with no 
dependencies, and the BSD-licensed source code is available for 
download.
