That would be somewhat surprising. Would they really put the VAX out to
pasture when it came to something VMS/VAX was so famous for!?

That's the one, fort066 and I confirm it works quite nicely on 7.3. Kind of
a funny name for the release given FORTRAN 66 was also a standard. Not a
lot to like about UNIX but I still can't get used to not having a version
command or option on VMS/VAX. Had to see what sys$help there was to find
out what version I had.
But, how do we know there's nothing newer for VAX?

Luckily this still comes with the layered products in the hobbyist distro.
