NOTES$NOTEBOOK.NOTE
That's your personal repository for the VAX-NOTES tool.
Used by the NOTES command. Try it.
It contains the notes-files you enrolled in (were provided) and bitmasks of what topics you have 'seen'.
It is an RMS indexed file with mostly binary context, interpreted by 'notes'.
You can peek at it with DUMP/RECORD or get an impression with TPU or $ SEARCH/FORM=NON NOTES$NOTEBOOK.NOTE ""
fwiw, the format of the notebook is identical to the format of the notes-files themselves.
