Yes, if you have a DECserver new enough to have TCPIP. You do
not say, and I don't going to guess, but if it has TCPIP you
simply connect to the IP address of the server and to the
IP port number of the actual serial port.
At my office it is a Lantronix ETS8P with port numbers 3001-3008.
At my customer it is newer Lantronixs with 10001-10002 port no's.
That way you can use your normal/standard terminal emulator.
Note that in PyTTY you should set "raw" as "Connection type"
and "Force off" for both "Local echo" and "Local line editing".
You can also easily enable "logging" in PyTTY and get a complete
log from your console session as documentation.
