It's definitely maintained, although I cannot find a newer version of the 
documentation on the HPE website.

We released VSI Enterprise Directory V5.7, which was a roll-up of all the HPE
patches to HPE Enterprise Directory V5.6, including the POODLE fix.

Pages 4 and 5 of the below document lists what products have been released.
