Ayup.   Though it does appear that DVCS is an area that you cannot 
articulate nor conceive of.   Or that you prefer to disbelieve the 
usefulness of the tools.   Given that OpenVMS isn't particularly good 
at accessing a DVCS — yes, jgit or the Python Hg bits — unfamiliarity 
with these tools and these approaches is not a huge surprise, though.   
 Windows (Visual Studio) and macOS (Xcode) both integrate with git, so 
that's a little more natural for developers working with those tools on 
those platforms, and there are command-line and other GUI tools 
available.   I don't know off-hand if eCube NXTware or the old Netbeans 
bits for OpenVMS integrate with git.
